“Blanca Flor" or in english the white flower shows a few not so obvious cultural traits that were important to the Mexican cultures. One of them being never disobey the queen is displayed when the servant who was supposed to kill the queen’s daughter doesn’t. When he returns the queen finds out he didn’t do as she said and she kills him herself. Another was shown when the queen disguises herself as peasant and has the enchanted necklace and gives it to the princess. The moral behind that scene is to never trust a stranger, and it is clear as to what some of the consequences could be if you do. These values are very important to the culture and teach ways that someone could lose their life if they aren’t careful of what they do.
